MICAH works with congregations, faith leaders, and community partners to increase awareness and understanding the need for affordable housing. This creates advocates who fight for changes in public policies to encourage all communities to preserve and build affordable housing.
Cahill Place will provide permanent supportive housing for 40 homeless families. The Dakota County Community Development Agency, Minnesota Housing, Minnesota Equity Fund, and Metropolitan Council provided project financing. Dakota County will be providing financial support for the onsite services.

MICAH South had an exciting bus tour on October 9th. Over 35 policy makers, community members, and faith leaders were involved.
Mayor Mary Hamann- Rolandof Apple Valley showed off all the great affordable housing developments they have done with Dakota CDA. We also visited the Link Core Drop In Center for youth at Grace Methodist Church.
