About Us
Our local MICAH South Chapter is involved in many outreach activities, meeting with congregations to inform them about housing issues facing the poor in the south metro area. Annually, we plan informative bus tours to showcase new, affordable, multi-family housing, and legislative breakfasts to bring together our elected officials and citizens to talk about affordable housing needs.
We have been involved with Dakota County, other non-profits, and congregations to set up temporary, overnight winter shelters at churches in the south metro. Many think that we do not have an affordable housing problem in Dakota County and the Lakeville area, but we do! It is really rewarding being involved with so many congregations having a common goal of providing affordable housing.

Services:
Ally Supportive Services - Our homeless outreach services are provided by advocates trained and experienced in engaging homeless individuals who struggle with mental health disorders and/or substance use disorders. Through our Police Homeless Outreach Partnership, Ally provides a community service partnership approach to ending homelessness. This approach provides those experiencing homelessness with resources as quickly as possible, wherever they are, and with a collaborative effort with local police agencies to identify, locate and serve the homeless in our community.
