And, at the June Chapter meeting we hosted Rachael Sterling from HOME Line to find out about the newly passed tenant protections at the state level - the biggest expansion of renter’s rights in a single session in the state’s history, with new laws taking effect on 1/1/24.

This March in Maplewood we could see the two sides in action. There were some impassioned speeches at the Maplewood City Hall, both pro-Purple and anti-Purple. We have been able to bring together a coalition of supporters – the Purple People – allying with small businesses, neighborhood associations, and transit advocates.
