Ignation Volunteer Corps Awards MICAH

On Tuesday, June 18, MICAH, and our own Judy Dahlberg, were honored by Ignation Volunteer Corps at their Evening of Gratitude event.

Judy Dahlberg received the Madonna Della Strada Award which honors a person who reflects the Ignation values of direct service to the poor, and of educating for a more just society. Judy has worked tirelessly for affordable housing for over 50 years. Within that time, MICAH is privileged to have the benefit of her services for over 6 years. Judy graces our offices with kindness and dedication, and we are fortunate to have her.

The Robert Hobbins Community Service Award was given to MICAH for “generating power, commitment, and action that creates the political will to realize their vision of safe, decent, and accessible homes for all.”

We appreciate this recognition from Ignation Volunteer Corps and will continue to work our mission for everyone, without exception.
