MICAH visits the Stillwater City Council mtg on Emergency Housing Services Building (EHSB)
On June 18 the Stillwater City Council voted to approve the 'EHSB Zoning and Conditional Use permit ordinance' that will enable the Emergency Housing Service Building to be constructed and operated on the Washington County Government Campus.
MICAH supporters met at the Stillwater City Hall for this meeting, and the planning commission in May, to send a message to city officials of the importance of approving the ordinance - which will make way for safe shelter and services, the first steps to finding permanent housing for families, individuals, and seniors experiencing homelessness.
The Washington County Commissioners have committed to build the EHSB and fund its ongoing operational costs. Find out more: Washington County information page
